Prometheans is the official off-road racing team of Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE). Founded in 2015, our team was created with a vision to unite talent, innovation, and relentless hard work.

We bring together passionate students who are driven to learn, design, and engineer high-performance off-road vehicles. Every member is encouraged to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges — transforming ideas into innovation with enthusiasm and precision.

Since our inception, we have grown into more than just a racing team. We are a community — a platform for collaboration, skill development, and the free exchange of ideas among automobile enthusiasts. Our journey continues with the same zeal, pushing boundaries in design, technology, and performance.

Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) is a Government-aided autonomous institution, located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 1957, it is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.

TCE is one of several educational and philanthropic institutions founded by philanthropist and industrialist Karumuttu Thiagarajan Chettiar, with a vision to deliver excellence in education, research, and innovation.
